1. 1. Eligibility

   GoTuff is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. You must give your true date of birth at sign-up; eligibility is calculated from it. We may suspend or close accounts we reasonably believe belong to someone under 18.

2. 2. Your account and World Name

   Your Player account is yours alone. Keep your login details secret; you are responsible for activity on your account. Your public @World Name is permanent once confirmed and must not impersonate others, contain hate or sexual content, or use reserved names. Your private account name and email are never shown to other players.

3. 3. Characters

   In Tuff you play fictional Characters (Personas). Characters are separate from your Player account. Some Characters are free; others are available through paid Character Usage for a limited time. Character Usage is a licence to play that Character for the stated period only — you never own the Character, its artwork or likeness. Some Characters have a limited number of simultaneous players; inactive slots may be reclaimed. All Characters are fictional; any resemblance to real persons is coincidental.

4. 4. Gidans (virtual currency)

   • Gidans are an in-game currency held in your Player wallet. They can be earned through play (shifts, daily claims, sales, wins) or bought with Naira.
   • Gidans have no value outside GoTuff except through the official cash-out feature described below. They are not a bank deposit, investment or legal tender.
   • We may adjust prices, rewards and exchange settings to keep the game balanced. Gidans gained through bugs, fraud or abuse may be removed.

5. 5. Payments in Naira

   Naira purchases (Gidan bundles, Character Usage, Global Statuses) are processed by Paystack. Prices are shown before you pay and are set on our servers. A purchase is complete only once Paystack confirms payment. Digital items are delivered immediately, so purchases are generally non-refundable, except where required by law, where we cannot deliver what you paid for, or where a Global Status is rejected after payment (in which case it is marked for refund).

6. 6. Cash-outs (withdrawals)

   • You may request to convert Gidans back to Naira at the current published rate, subject to a minimum amount and a withdrawal fee shown before you confirm.
   • Payouts go only to a Nigerian bank account in your own name, verified through Paystack. Once verified the account is locked; changes require contacting support.
   • Every cash-out is reviewed and paid manually by our team. We may delay, decline or reverse requests linked to fraud, chargebacks, multiple accounts, money laundering or breach of these Terms, and may ask for identity information.

7. 7. Gameplay: fights, stakes and crime

   Tuff includes fictional combat, staked challenges, fight support items, and in-game pickpocketing. All outcomes are decided by our servers. Staked items or Gidans move only when both players confirm the same terms. In-game theft, losses and defeats are part of play and are not grounds for refunds. Do not use bots, scripts, exploits or multiple accounts to gain an advantage.

8. 8. Residences, venues and Global Status

   Residences may carry monthly rent in Gidans; if rent lapses beyond the grace period you may be moved to a free home. Some homes are deliberately unsafe. Branded venues (such as Maison Noir) are arranged with our team. Global Status messages are reviewed before display and may be rejected or removed if they breach these Terms.

9. 9. Conduct

   You must not harass, threaten, scam, impersonate, share sexual content involving anyone, post hate speech, share others’ private information, advertise, or break the law. Role-play does not excuse real harm. You can block, mute and report players. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or ban accounts, and forfeit balances obtained through abuse.

10. 10. Voice and chat

    Voice and text chat are live and may be heard or seen by others in the same room. You are responsible for what you say. Do not record others without consent.

11. 11. Our content

    GoTuff, Tuff, its Characters, artwork, music and software belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, sell or reuse them outside the game. You keep rights to content you post but give us a licence to display it within GoTuff.

12. 12. Availability and changes

    GoTuff is provided “as is”. We may change, pause or retire features, Characters, places or prices. We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept it. Significant changes will be announced in the app.

13. 13. Liability

    To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, loss of virtual items, or interruptions to service. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 6 months before the claim.

14. 14. Ending your account

    You may stop using GoTuff at any time and ask us to close your account. Unused Gidans are forfeited on closure unless you cash them out first in line with section 6. We may close accounts that breach these Terms.

15. 15. Governing law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will first be handled through our support team, then by the courts of Lagos State.
